P. Alejandro Crosthwaite OP

Alejandro Crosthwaite, OP è Decano della Facoltà di Scienze Sociali; Professore ordinario di Dottrina Sociale della Chiesa, Etica Sociale e Politica, e Media Studies nella Facoltà di Scienze Sociali della Pontificia Università San Tommaso d'Aquino (Roma); Professore Incaricato della ISSR Mater Ecclesiae, Professore Invitato nella Facoltà di Teologia e Professore di Domuni.

Il Prof. Crosthwaite si è dottore in Teologia Morale (S.T.L) presso la Pontificia Università San Tommaso d'Aquino (2010) e ha conseguito il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca in Teologia e Società presso l'Università di Marquette negli USA (2006). La sua dissertazione finale, dal titolo Who Are the 'Wise'? A Critical Analysis of Film and Papal Social Teaching for Those Who Can Reclaim and Revitalize the Vision of a More Just America è incentrata sull'interazione tra teologia politica, cultura, cinema e trasformazione sociale.

Prof. Crosthwaite è membro della Società di Etica Cristiana (USA), Società di Teologia Cattolica dell'America, Accademia Americana di Religione, La Società per lo Studio dell'Etica Cristiana (U.K.) e Società Europea di Ricerca in Etica (Societas Ethica).

Ha al suo attivo numerose conferenze e seminari ed è autore di vari saggi ed articoli sul pensiero sociale e politico dell' Aquinate, dottrina sociale della Chiesa, etica sociale dei Latino-americani negli Stati Uniti e dell'America Latina, e Studi di Media.
