The aim of this course is to show the implications of normative theories for specific moral issues or contemporary debates on particular ethical issues. The course is an excellent opportunity for students to reflect on current ethical issues, and apply ethical theories to those issues. The texts provided for the various topics would serve as background to provoke thoughts. Students are required to read the texts assigned for each of the topics. In addition, students are also encouraged to research other relevant articles on the assigned ethical issue. This course is the second part of "Contemporary issues in Bioethics".
